I am very happy about OpenSolaris0805 especially about the fact that it comes with ZFS from the ground up. Also installation was as easy as I have never seen in the Solaris world before.

After the OS installation I continued with the Sun Studio 12 developer tools to be able to make some perl modules working which require a c compiler for installaton. But when trying to install the required perl modules in the usual CPAN fashion I noticed that many c-header files were not found.

Does anyone have an idea what packages are missing and how to complete my installation?
